2019 Annual Fūkiran Judging
The FSOA is pleased to announce the 10th annual Fūkiran Judging to be held on Saturday, July 13th at the Cal Orchid Summer Hummer event in Santa Barbara, California. There will be many plants entered for judging, including both flowering and non-flowering plants. Judges will be Jason Fischer, Satomi Kasahara Davis, and her father. 5 top Fūkiran will be awarded trophies. New this year will be the best small growth (3 or less growths) variety, voted by the public!
Along with judging there will be several lectures on Fūkiran . Vendors Diamond Orchids, Orchids Limited, and Seed Engei will have many wonderful Fūkiran for sale!
The events will run from 11am to 3pm., with judging at 2pm. Here is the agenda for the day's events:
10am-11am Entries for judging should be registered at the registration desk
11am Lecture 1
12pm Lecture 2
1:30-2pm Judging begins
2pm Judging results
